Man arrested in Clay Cross after police find suspected Class A and Class B drugs

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after police discovered suspected drugs at a property on Clay Lane.

Officers executed a drugs warrant at a premise around 9.40am on Thursday, October 1.

Whilst searching the property, police seized a quantity of suspected Class A and Class B substances as well as drugs paraphernalia.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled Class A and B drugs and possession of controlled Class B drugs with intent to supply.

He has since been bailed while police enquiries continue.
