Investigation underway to determine cause of 'serious fire' in Shirebrook

Fire crews were called at 1.06pm this afternoon (January 27) after a serious fire broke out in the open on Park Road.

Police and ambulances workers were also in attendance as firefighters battled the blaze.

A joint police and fire investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
