Fire at Chesterfield charity shop

Police and fire services are investigating the cause of a blaze which broke out in a charity shop in Chesterfield.

At around midday today, fire crews from Staveley and Chesterfield were called to Save the Children on Stephenson Place in the town centre where a fire had broken out in a 200 metre by 30 metre shop floor.

Police were also called to the scene to help with crowd control as spectators watched the blaze.
