Driver found with 'hands down pants' and vaseline pot arrested for Class A drugs near Chesterfield

A driver who allegedly had his ‘hands down his pants’ was arrested by police near Chesterfield after wraps of Class A drugs and a vaseline pot were found in his car.

Derbyshire Road Crime Unit officers stopped the man driving an Audi in Newbold after he was allegedly found with his ‘hands down [his] pants’ and an open tub of vaseline was spotted nearby.

He was arrested on possession with intent to supply Class A drugs after he refused to be scanned by police and was remanded in custody.

The driver then gave up the fight three days later according to officers who tweeted about the incident along with a poo emoji and multiple Class A drugs wraps were recovered along with money from an address.

One twitter user commented: “I wonder if the people that buy these little parcels know where they've been kept for safety?”

While another person joked: “Oh dear.

"I don’t envy you getting to the bottom of that criminal activity.”
