Firefighters had to cut a motorist out of their car after a crash near Whitwell.

It happened on the A619 at around 5.19pm yesterday (Friday, June 28).

Two vehicles were involved. The driver was left in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Derbyshire Police also attended the incident.
