An unemployed man has been fined after he admitted driving without a licence.

Chesterfield magistrates’ court heard on Thursday, November 13, how Grzegorz Drzazga, 28, of Springfield Crescent, Bolsover, was stopped in Poolsbrook by police because of the way he was driving.

Prosecuting solicitor Becky Allsop said: “He was stopped due to the manner of his driving and he did not have any L plates and his wife and two children were in the vehicle. He admitted he didn’t have a full licence and the DVLA confirmed he only had a provisional licence.”

Drzazya pleaded guilty to driving without a full licence after the incident in June.

He told the court he was sorry and it would not happen again because he was going to get driving lessons. Drzazya was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £35 costs. His licence was also endorsed with three points.
