Police are appealing for information after two separate pub burglaries.

Some time between midnight and 11am on Sunday, someone broke into the Heart of Oak pub, on Northern Common, Dronfield Woodhouse.

They stole cash from the pub’s bandit machine and till.

Another break-in happened at the Moorlands pub, on Baslow Road, Owler Bar, at about 2.30am this morning. Offenders stole cash from a gaming machine.

A Derbyshire police spokesman said they were looking for potential links between the two incidents.

Anyone with information about the crimes should call police on 101.
