A lorry containing thousands of pounds worth of lager was stolen from a lay-by in Chesterfield yesterday.

The vehicle was left in a lorry park in Hardwick View Road at around 4.30pm while the driver went to get something to eat.

When he returned several hours later, the vehicle, which contained Becks lager, had gone.

Derbyshire Police are investigating.

Anyone with information should contact them on the non-emergency number, 101.
