CCTV image released after alleged attack on Chesterfield couple

Police investigating an alleged attack on a couple in Chesterfield have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

Police would like to speak to this man in connection with the incident

The incident occurred at around 4.30am on Sunday May 13, when police understand a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were attacked by six men on Holywell Street.

The man is thought to have been dragged into the road where he was punched and kicked multiple times on the floor.

He received hospital treatment for injuries to his face, head, shoulder, legs and back.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident. They would also like to hear from a taxi driver who they believe shouted out during the incident, but has not yet come forward.
