Cat shot with pellet gun in Chesterfield

Police are appealing for information after a cat was shot with a pellet gun in Chesterfield.

The cat's owner's, who live on Baden Powell Road, reported the incident to police after their pet returned home with an injury at around lunchtime on Friday March 2.

A vet has examined the cat and confirmed it was shot at with an air rifle.

It is possible the cat had been roaming in the Lord Roberts Road and Dundonald Road area, as well as perhaps further afield in Birdholme.
