Busy night for Chesterfield police as vehicles seized and 'drug driving' woman arrested

Derbyshire Roads Police have been kept on their toes by rogue drivers in Chesterfield.

A van which was found to be uninsured in the town centre, followed by two more in Brimington.

A Renault in Old Whittington was also uninsured and seized.

Later in Cutthorpe a woman was clocked doing 39mph in a 30mph zone and tested positive for cannabis.

The unit tweeted: “Arrested and blood obtained for analysis. Speeding ticket for now, possible court appearance in a few months.”
