Armed raider steals cash in Barlborough shop robbery

An armed raider stole cash during a shop robbery.

Detectives are appealing for information after the incident in Barlborough.

At around 7.20pm on Monday, May 19 a man entered Spar on Ash Close and demanded money from the cashier.

The man appeared to be carrying a knife.

The staff member opened the till and the offender reached in and took money and put it into a bag before leaving the shop.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The offender is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build and wearing jeans, a black hooded top and light coloured footwear. His face was covered.
