Appeal for information after Hadfield robbery

Police are appealing for information after money was stolen from a man in Hadfield.

On Saturday at 8pm, the victim was walking along an alley way on Mersey Bank Road when he was approached by two men.

One of them demanded money and was holding a knife and the victim handed over cash and jewellery.

The man with the knife was described as white, 26 years-old, of medium build, 6ft tall with a strong Manchester accent. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood worn down and a dark brown peaked cap.

The second man was described as 6ft 2ins tall, white, 26 years-old, of skinny build with long dark hair. He was wearing a black nylon jacket and dark clothing.

The two men then walked off in the direction of Hadfield Road.
