Appeal after thieves steal Blue John from Castleton
Police are appealing for information after thieves stole Blue John from Treak Cliff Cavern in Castleton.
Sometime between 6.30pm on August 11, and 8.20am the next day, one or more thieves have visited the site, on Buxton Road, and removed raw Blue John from the hillside above the main cavern building, possibly dragging it in a bag or container down the hill to the public footpath.
