Countess of Wessex to visit Chesterfield College

Chesterfield College’s Autism Support Centre is set to welcome HRH The Countess of Wessex GCVO today for its grand opening ceremony.

The Autism Support Centre is part of a complete redevelopment of the College’s ‘North Block 4’ building which now boasts a brand new cafeteria and learning centre and several large contemporary classrooms.

The Autism Support Centre is a new facility for students aged 16 plus who have been identified as having an Autistic Spectrum Condition/Disorder. Students study subjects including Maths, English, ICT, Skills for Daily Life, Environmental Studies, Exploring the Community and Work Experience.
