Police in the Hathersage area are asking residents for their views on meetings.

The Hathersage Area Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, which cover Hathersage, Calver, Curbar, Froggatt, Bradwell, Eyam, Foolow, Grindlow, Great Hucklow, Abney, Nether Padley and Grindleford, currently hold quarterly meetings with partnership agencies to give residents a chance to set policing priorities.

Officers are now appealing to local people for their views on the best time and location for their meetings.

Team Sergeant Andy Wordsworth said: “We want to ensure that we target the concerns and issues that matter to local residents, but to do that it is important that we engage with as many people as possible.

“Our area covers many different villages, so we would like people to tell us at what times they would prefer us to hold meetings and where.”

He added: “People also have the opportunity to tell us what they would like us to target through email forums and we welcome all input from local residents.”

To have your say please contact the team by calling 0345 123 33 33 or emailing

Residents can also drop in to see their local officers at the weekly surgeries at Bradwell community police office on Netherside.

They take place every Monday between 10am and 2pm.
