“It is a pleasure to be here and I wish the T Mates Café every success in becoming a much used hub for the whole community.”

The T Mates Community Café has been part funded by Amber Valley Public Health Fund with table ware donated by Denby Pottery.

Angela Quinn, Community engagement manager at Hearing Help, said: “Our community is very diverse and non specific and it is our aim that the old community spirit will be rekindled encouraging elderly people, families and the younger generation to come together.”

Members of the public are invited to drop into the cafe to enjoy the friendly atmosphere as well as homemade cakes and scones, coffee and a variety of teas every Friday between 10am and noon.
