THIS impressive memorial tree has been unveiled at a Derbyshire care home, thanks to Chesterfield College.

The tree was requested by St Michael’s Nursing Home in Brimington, and over time the memorial will include engraved leaves hanging from the tree to form wind chimes.

Pictured at the ribbon cutting ceremony (above) on Monday, are representatives of the nursing home and college including students Oliver Wells and Charlie Hodgson who helped create the tree and tutor Greg Proffitt who designed the memorial.
