Ladies who lunch gathered together to hear about a project to help Derby’s homeless.

Bakewell and District Probus Club invited it’s ladies to the annual luncheon at Hassop Hall, in Hassop.

Guest of honour and speaker was Mrs Jackie Newbury who talked about the Derby Soup Run, an innovative scheme to assist the homeless in the city, providing them with soup, hot drinks, bread and blankets.
