Clowne: Police investigate after cat shot with air weapon

Police are appealing for help after a cat was shot by an air weapon in Clowne.

Officers were called to Slaley Lane following reports that the cat had been shot by what is believed to have been an air rifle.

The incident happened at around 4.25pm on 20th November.

Police are looking to trace a man who was seen in the area around the time of the incident. He is described as white, around 6ft tall and of big build.

He wore camouflage clothing, including a camo hat and spoke with a deep voice.

Officers are urging anyone who may have seen a man matching the description above, or may have information relating to the attack, to get in touch.
