Hasland Methodist Church has reopened after undergoing a revamp.

Hasland Methodist Church has reopened after undergoing a revamp.

As part of the refurbishment project, the church’s wooden pews were removed and replaced with comfortable chairs which can be moved around to accommodate more people.

In addition, the decor has been changed to more welcoming colours.

The above banner, which was created by pupils at Hasland Hall Community School and members of the community, was unveiled during a recent reopening and rededication service of the church.

The Rev Margaret Mwailu, minister at Hasland Methodist Church, said the services was a ‘fantastic occasion’.
