Christmas party for senior citizens is laid on by Chesterfield Scarsdale Rotarians
Senior citizens were treated to a Christmas party by Chesterfield's Scarsdale Rotary Club.
Twenty-six Rotarians acted as waiters and drivers while members of Chesterfield Scarsdale Inner Wheel Club ran the kitchen at St John’s Church Hall in Walton.
The Rotary Club provided all the food and drink. Surplus food was parcelled up and donated to the Chesterfield Night Shelter Project, run by local churches for the 13 people within the Chesterfield district who have no home to go to during the festive season.
