Chesterfield's Emily needs YOUR votes to make splash at Miss Swimsuit contest

A young Chesterfield woman needs YOUR votes to earn a place in the finals of this year's Miss Swimsuit UK contest.

Emily Spence, 24, participated in the first part of the competition in Newcastle on Friday.

The student nurse said: "I came top six and I've been given the chance to be a wild card and be entered to compete in the final.

"I now need people to like this Facebook post with a heart icon and comment and share it for it to get around.

"If you can spread the word that would be great.

"Thank you for your support."

Emily previously told the Derbyshire Times she has never done anything like this before and is 'nervous' and 'excited'.

She said: "The message I would like to promote is that no matter what you have been through in the past you can always make a change and bring positivity to your life.

"Winning for me would be amazing, I've always wanted to do something like this I just lacked the confidence.

"I'm ready to go out there and face the world with everything I've got."

She added: "I have never done anything like this before so it is new for me and something I am nervous but so excited for.”
