Chesterfield town centre has a host of fun activities to suit all the family this bank holiday Monday.

Chesterfield’s open-air market place will host a table top sale on Monday 25 August from 10am to 4pm with sellers offering a variety of different products.

As well as the table-top sale, some of our regular traders will be open for business in the traditional setting of our open-air market.

Chesterfield Museum will have an interactive exhibition about life at Chesterfield Grammar School.

The museum is open from 10am to 4pm and admission is free.

St Mary and All Saints’ Church, the Crooked Spire, is also open during the day, offering trips up the tower and stunning views of Chesterfield.

Councillor Amanda Serjeant, Chesterfield Borough Council’s executive member for leisure, culture and tourism said: “The bank holiday is a great time for families to spend together and we have a great variety of activities here in Chesterfield to keep the whole family entertained.” Chesterfield residents set for a fun-filled bank holiday
