It has been commissioned by Channel 4, following the success of the series in Australia.

Raechel said: “We had a lot of fun filming it. It was a great experience. It was the most exciting thing I have ever done - but it was quite stressful.”

Nurse practitioner Raechel and occupational therapist Andy said they entered because of their passion for cooking.

“I love to host various events and do the cooking,” Raechel said. “I have always dreamed to have a career in catering.”

During the series, Raechel and Andy are filmed around Chesterfield picking up their local produce before heading home to prepare their dishes.

Executive producer, Eve Kay, said: “Pop up restaurants are the latest addition to the UK’s ongoing food revolution and a brilliant way for amateur chefs to show off their cooking skills and passion for food. An entertaining national competition pitching different regions against each other will bring out the best in British food and should discover exciting new food talent.”
