Chesterfield friends to launch cook book after new-found fame

Two amateur Chesterfield chefs who found fame on a television cookery show are set to launch their own recipe book later this year.

Friends Andy Reeves and Raechel Parker appeared on Channel Four’s ‘My Kitchen Rules’ last year.

The duo say the show has changed their lives and that they are looking forward to making their recipes more widely available.

Raechel Parker, a nurse practioner by day, said: “It really was a once in a lifetime experience to be part of such a big budget show. At one point I had over 30 members of the production crew in my house when my home was turned into a restaurant.

“The show truly took over our lives – we appeared on eight episodes and did over 160 hours of filming. It’s fair to say we’ve more than enough quality recipes to fill a book.”

Andy Reeves, an occupational therapist, said: “Interest in our recipes has never died down - in fact if anything we’re getting even more people asking for them since the show finished.”

Their cookbook is set to be launched in summer.
