The family of missing Connor Allen who went missing with his girlfriend have said they are still concerned for his safety.
15-year-old Courtney Purcell was declared missing by her family on Wednesday, December 23, after being last seen in Staveley, and Derbyshire police said she had been located.
But friends and family are still concerned as they maintain the pair have still not returned home after disappearing over Christmas.
Both Courtney and Connor are described as vulnerable and absconded together over Christmas and are yet to return home, claims Connor's mum, Tracey Cutts.
She said: "It's been hell, I've been trying to keep up appearances for his younger brother, we've been trying to keep Christmas going, but it's been making me ill with worry.
"We texted, but as soon as I asked him to go on Facebook to show where he was he went off. People have been calling him and it's mostly been Courtney answering.
"My other son has been trying to ring him. He says he's coming hoem tonight but he's been saying that for the past three or four days.
Friend of the family Teresa Rutter said: "Tracy heard from Conner earlier on and said he was in Oakwood Derby and gave a few names to say who he was with - but we don't know if he is there or if he's in Chesterfield. Conner is quite vulnerable and the police are still coming out asking about him.
"Please if either of you can see this please contact your families. Everyone's worried and your mum's very poorly, Connor, please get in touch."
Hearts went out to their families over social media as the pair are still missing, believed to be together.
Amanda Brusby said on Facebook: "Hope she is found safe and well very soon every parents nightmare."
