CHESTERFIELD: Carole Copeland and Sheila Young talk about life in the theatre

At an ‘In Conversation’ event, held in the bar at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre, a full house were treated to a thoroughly entertaining talk, ‘Surviving the Business’ by Carole Copeland of the theatre, and her colleague Sheila Young.

Anecdotes about their theatrical careers were interspersed with sketches, including one which involved audience participation!

Everyone agreed that it had been a very enjoyable talk; and Margaret McCall’s wonderful soups made a perfect conclusion on a bitterly cold day.
