A popular festival celebrating a Chesterfield street is set to return for a fourth year.
The Chatsworth Road Festival will take place between Thursday, October 1 and Sunday, October 4.
Over those four days, the event will boast more than 120 activities, promotions and competitions along the well-known street.
Howard Borrell, a spokesman for the event, said: “This festival differs from others in that it doesn’t feature a fun fair, five-a-side football or marching bands – instead it aims to more widely promote businesses and organisations based on or near to the ever-more vibrant Chatsworth Road.
“The area is a real gem with great pubs, restaurants and an eclectic mix of shops which sell everything from wellingtons to wedding dresses and fantastic pottery to fairtrade coffee.
“The festival aims to provide something for all tastes and ages,” he added.
Among the attractions this year will be the Brampton Food Market, nine venues offering live music and an appearance from Derbyshire’s Poet Laureate, Helen Mort.
Dedicated volunteers set up the event in 2011 in a bid to create stronger community spirit.
