The Boxing4heroes fundraiser took place on Sunday, May 1 at Brampton Manor.

More than 30 men and women, who had been training at The Fitness Factory in Chesterfield for eight weeks before the event, took to the ring in front of hundreds of people.

The cheque was presented to Help for Heroes ambassador Dean Williams.

Head coach at The Fitness Factory, Shaun Grafton 45, said: “The event was a huge success with 15 bouts on the day all of which fought with great courage and sportsmanship. Myself and my business partner Lee Waterhouse would like to thank everyone involved on the day especially the team and officials who where very professional and efficient.”
