Chance to have say on range of issues

Community groups with an interest in Buxton are being invited to give their views on a range of issues at a meeting next week.

Topics on the agenda include an update from Buxton Town Team on recent projects and future plans, public buildings, markets and Christmas lights as well as an open discussion session.

The Community Voice meeting, organised by High Peak Borough Council (HPBC), is taking place on Tuesday June 25 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at St Thomas More Catholic School, Buxton.

Councillor Caitlin Bisknell, High Peak Borough Council leader, said: “I’m committed to the council becoming an organisation which is more responsive to local community issues, more aware of what matters to neighbourhoods, villages and towns and more supportive of the efforts of local people to address those issues for themselves.”
