PRIMARY pupils and staff have cause for a double celebration following two glowing reports from school watchdogs.
Calow Primary was judged as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted inspectors.
They praised the leadership of the headteacher, good standards of education and behaviour as well as excellent partnership with parents.
Headteacher Martin Thacker said: “In my view, Calow Primary is a place where all children are given exciting opportunities to learn and develop.
“This is largely due to the hard working members of our team and their professionalism.”
Calow Primary was inspected in the same month by Church School watchdogs.
They praised the active Christian ethos ‘outstanding,’ effective links with the church and community and confident pupils who take pride in their school and its Christian value
