Last year’s inaugural awards were a huge success – and we hope this year’s will bring even more nominations.
The winners will be announced at a special ceremony on April 21 at Chesterfield FC’s B2net stadium.
Derbyshire Times editor Nicola Megson said: “The Derbyshire Times is at the heart of the communities it serves.
“Every week we report what’s going on in our region – but we know there are many, many more stories of dedication, courage and generosity that deserve recognition and celebration.
“It’s important to us that we hold these awards, especially now, when we’re consumed by the challenges of an economic downturn.
“It’s all too easy to focus on the doom and gloom and our awards give all our readers a chance to contemplate all the genuine good being done in our communities.”
To nominate, send your entries to ‘Pride Awards’, Promotions Department, Derbyshire Times, Station Road, Chesterfield, S41 7XD or e-mail email@example.com.
