Cash and ‘legal highs’ stolen in Chesterfield robbery

Cash and ‘legal highs’ were taken from a Chesterfield shop after a man went in and demanded money.

Police in Chesterfield are appealing for witnesses after the offence at 3.15pm on Friday, May 30, at Reefers on Knifesmithgate.

He is described as being white, five feet three inches tall and of slim build. He had a scarf across his face which fell down while he was in the shop.

He also carried a bread knife but didn’t threaten anyone.

He left the shop with cash and some bags of psychoactive substances, also known as ‘legal highs’, and met up with a taller man who was wearing a grey tracksuit with his hood up. They both ran off up the alley opposite the shop towards the donut roundabout.

Anyone who saw the men either before or after the offence should contact the police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
