Car ‘rolls into’ house in Derbyshire village


A car “rolled into” a house in a Derbyshire village this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Station Road, Renishaw, at about 2.10pm.

A spokesman for Derbyshire fire service said a saloon car had “rolled into the side of the property”.

Firefighters from Staveley recovered the smashed vehicle and confirmed no damage had been done to the house.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The fire service spokesman added: “Fire crews were at the scene for about half an hour and left the incident in the hands of Derbyshire police.”
