Car in New Whittington described as '˜well alight'
A saloon car was on fire in New Whittington.
The blaze started last night, Saturday, September 3 just before 7.30pm.
Fire crew from Chesterfield attended and used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
A spokesman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue said: “the car was well alight on Handley Road.” The crew left the scene at 8pm.
