Car collides with bus on Derbyshire road

A motorist has been rushed to hospital after a collision between a car and a bus at Kilburn.

The incident occurred on the B6179 Derby Road close to Rawson Green. (Image: Google).

An air ambulance was called to the incident, which took place at 13.35pm on the B6179 at Rawson Green.

The road is currently blocked after the accident and police and paramedics are in attendance.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire police said: "The driver of the car appears to have collapsed at the wheel, but we're so far unsure if this was before or after the collision.”
