The UK’s heart health charity is asking the people to become a BHF “Heart Flyer “ and take on a 10,000ft tandem skydive in aid of the fight against coronary heart disease – the UK’s single biggest killer.

The training and jump, which is completed on the same day, is available at 20 drop zone locations throughout England, Scotland and Wales, including Brackley, Northamptonshire, in partnership with specialist parachute company provider, UK Skydive. And, if you raise over £400 in fundraising, you will be able to jump for free.

You will be attached to a professional British Parachute Association Instructor as you jump out of the plane and free fall at around 120mph for 45-50 seconds. Not only will it be the thrill of a lifetime, but you will be helping to fund essential heart research that will save lives.

Last year, our Heart Flyers raised over £100,000 to help us continue our life-saving work. This year, we want to smash this total.

Coronary heart disease is responsible for around 5,800 deaths in the East Midlands each year, that’s nearly 16 people every single day.

We are asking people of the East Midlands to sign up today and help us eradicate this dreadful disease.
