Cadets take on mammoth biking challenge

Cadets used pedal power to complete a mammoth journey - riding the equivalent of Buxton to Gibraltar.

The Army cadets rode their bikes for the full 1,650 miles over 24 hours in order to raise funds for an expedition to Gibraltar in October.

Instructor Sergeant Katie Andrew said: “It was really great that the cadets put their effort into this event. The Gibraltar expedition is a brilliant opportunity for them and we expect that the cadets going on the expedition will play a large part in raising the money.”
