Youth Fight for Jobs campaigners are working alongside the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers’ Union in the Fast Food Rights coalition to organise solidarity protests across the UK today, Wednesday, April 15, to coincide with the fast-food and low-paid workers’ protests in the USA.

Action will be part of a Join a Union Day.

The YFJ is encouraging all workers to get organised in order to fight back against low pay and casual work.

YFJ is demanding the raising of the minimum wage to £10 per hour for all with no youth exemptions and an end to zero-hour contracts for guaranteed contracts for all.

Chesterfield YFJ has organised a protest outside the McDonald’s on Broad Pavement at 6pm, today.
