The hunt is on to find the very best of north Derbyshire’s businesses.

The Derbyshire Times Business Awards recognise the innovation and dedication which companies and entrepreneurs in the county demonstrate day in day out.

This week we are calling on fledgling businesses and entrepreneurs to enter the New Business of the Year award.

The category is open to businesses which have been established within the last 18 months and operate from a range of bases including work space, incubation or innovation centre within Chesterfield.

This award is the ultimate accolade for all our entrants and the winner will be chosen from each of the category winners.

The judges will be looking for the company or person who has shown the most enterprise, passion and drive in taking their business forward. Dedication and innovation will be key to the winner of this most prestigious award.

The winner must be able to demonstrate through its financial performance a thorough understanding of its ‘unique selling point’ and how this has been maximised within its markets.

The award is sponsoredby the town’s marketing champions Destination Chesterfield.

The organisation is responsible for developing a co-ordinated approach to promoting Chesterfield.

The main aim is to raise the profile of Chesterfield.

The Business Awards will be held at the Proact Stadium on November 20.
