Fab four host top seminars

FOUR entrepreneurs have joined forces to host a series of free seminars about boosting business growth after the runaway success of a pilot event.

Over 200 firms have already enjoyed listening and benefiting from the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce members’ advice and others are urged to sign up for future events.

Chamber spokesman Steve Charles believes the speakers – company managing directors Claire Curzon, Paul Kirby, Julian Smith and Mark Joyner – have hit a winning formula.

He said: “The level of interest for the first How to Win in Business event was unprecedented and I’m delighted they’re rolling out more, different themed seminars this year.

“The chamber will play its part in supporting these events because the team has clearly identified a gap in the market for straight-talking seminars by professionals who have built successful businesses.”

The four MDs are Claire Curzon, of Brighter Directions, Paul Kirby, of Octopus Public Relations, Julian Smith, of The Alternative Board and Mark Joyner, of MyVirtualBrochure, and they are also introducing guest speakers at events.

Claire said: “The success of our events shows we’ve clearly struck a chord by providing something of value and benefit to firms wanting to grow and develop.”

The next event on how businesses can forge more effective and profitable relationships with other companies will be from 5pm, on April 6, at The Derbyshire Hotel, South Normanton. Places can be booked on line at www.howtowininbiz.co.uk.
