Business growth and Brexit were among the topics up for discussion as some of the biggest companies in the Derbyshire Dales gathered in Cromford for the first Derbyshire Dales Chief Executives’ Forum.

Hosted by Derbyshire Dales District Council’s CEO Paul Wilson, the event was designed to increase interaction at a senior level between the authority and businesses of strategic importance to the local economy.

Attending the event at Cromford Mills last Thursday, Derbyshire Dales MP Sir Patrick McLoughlin said: “It is vital that both the private and public sector look at ways to promote opportunities in the Derbyshire Dales for the benefit of all its residents.

“We have listened to the points raised today and have something to build on.”
