Chesterfield College auto apprentice on road to success

Chesterfield College student James Grayson scooped a prestigious UK honour at an Institute of the Motor Industry ceremony held at Silverstone.

James was crowned outstanding achiever of the year in the Paint Apprentice category. HRH Prince Michael of Kent and the Head of the IMI Steve Nash presented James with his award.

He was recognised for his excellent attitude towards learning and for his previous IMI Skill Auto Gold medal win and for his involvement in the UK World Skills team.

James has completed his apprenticeship and is working for Wheeler Dealers TV Presenter Mike Brewer at Mike Brewer Motors in Sheffield.
