A Chesterfield man has been jailed after his fingerprints were found at a flat that had been burgled.
Stephen Cooke, 35, broke into a flat on Old Hall Road, Chesterfield in March 2012 and stole jewellery, electrical goods and aftershave.
He was arrested and charged with burglary after his fingerprints were later found in the flat.
Cooke, of Birchwood Crescent, Chesterfield, pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was sentenced to 13 months in prison following a hearing at Derby Crown Court on Tuesday, August 7.
