A MAN who carried out a number of burglaries across the Chesterfield area has been jailed for five years.
Carl Wilson, 33, was arrested on November 1, 2011 on suspicion of a number of offences.
He admitted breaking into a house on Cross Street, Chesterfield on October 13 and told officers about several other offences he had committed since July 2011.
Wilson, of Compton Street, Chesterfield pleaded guilty to burglary and theft at a hearing at Derby Crown Court and asked for eight other similar offences to be taken into consideration.
He was sentenced to five years in prison on Thursday, November 17.
