Britain’s Biggest and Best Country Fair at Chatsworth
Highlights this year include Mary Berry from the Great British Bake-Off in the cookery theatre; JCB’s team of Dancing Diggers, the musical drive of the Kings Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, and mounted games in the Grand Ring; more than 300 trade stands; a fine food village; a traditional fairground and plenty of ‘have-a-go’ entertainment such as archery and fly-fishing on the River Derwent; and, the spectacular Red Arrows display team performing over the heads of the watching crowd on Sunday afternoon.
Spread over more than 100 acres of parkland the three-day spectacle – which begins on Friday, August 30 – is open to all from 9am to 6.30pm every day with free-entry for under-14s.
