Chairperson Christine Brown opened the meeting of NAWC Brimington Women’s Club by welcoming members and their guest speaker for the evening, Mark Rawson from Chesterfield Borough Council who gave a very interesting, and sometimes an hilarious talk about the services provided by CBC Environmental Health Department.

Refreshments were served to Mark and members by Sheila and Margaret. Linda Bage read the minutes of the previous meeting and reminded members that next Thursday they were dining out at an Indian restaurant so the club would be closed for the next two weeks.

Meetings are held every Thursday at 8pm. (during school term times) in the Heywood Street Community Centre. New members are welcomed.
