Brave Lyla to donate hair to sick children
While most nine-year-old-girls are more concerned with the latest trends around school thoughtful Lyla one day made the decision that she wanted to cut off ten inches of her hair to donate to young-girls who have lost their hair from chemotherapy.
Codnor Primary School pupil Lyla told the Ripley & Heanor News she was a little bit nervous, but nevertheless excited to help other young girls, she said: “I’m not really sure what made me decide to do it, I just want to help.

“My friends all think I’m being really brave.”
Proud mum Hayley Bradley said: “I’m really not entirely sure what urged Lyla to decide she wanted to cut her hair off and donate it to the Little Princess Trust, but nevertheless I’m massively proud of her. It’s such a lovely thing to do for someone.”
Alongside donating her hair Lyla asked her mum whether people would like to sponsor her haircut.
She then set a target of raising £10 for the trust, but the response she received was phenomenal.
