Bomb disposal coins among stolen valuables in Derbyshire burglary

Bomb disposal coins are among valuable items police are trying to trace following a burglary at a house in Derbyshire.

A burglar forced open the back door a house in Conway Street, Long Eaton, sometime between 7.30pm on Sunday, January 10 and 2.30pm on Friday, January 15

They took a Toshiba television, a white 18 speed Hyper Havoc bicycle and a variety of coins.

These include a silver coin which features a falling bomb on a union flag background with ’33 Engineer Regiment’ and ‘Bomb Disposal Royal Engineers’ on one side.

An Olympic coin, given to those who worked at or supported the 2012 games in London was also stolen.
